method

Spray the sausages with a little spray oil and cook in a frying pan until brown.

When sausages are brown take them off the heat and set to one side.

Add the sliced onion and fry on a medium heat until light brown.

While the sliced onion is cooking add the quartered onion to ½ pint of boiling water and cook on high in a microwave for 5 minutes.  Add a beef stock cube and blend together till smooth and thick.

Add the stock cube mixture to the cooked onions, sausages and add the remaining boiling water.

Mix well and add the powdered mash, mixing until dissolved into the gravy.

serve with your favourite steamed vegetables

1 pack of your favourite Joe’s sausages (Pork & Mustard are great in this recipe)
1 red onion finely sliced
1 red onion cut into quarters
1½ pints boiling water
4 beef stock cube
2 tablespoons instant mash potato powder
Salt and pepper
