Joe's Beef Burgers with Sweet Potato Patties

Joe's Beef Burgers with Sweet Potato Patties Joe's Beef Burgers with Sweet Potato Patties

Heat the grill to medium heat and gentle cook your Joe's burgers, turning regularly, making sure they don't burn but so that they are cooked through.

Meanwhile, mix the sweet potatoes with the grated onion in a heat proof bowl.  Cover with cling film, then microwave on high for 2-3 minutes until softened slightly (or you can steam them).  Stir in the flour and eggs, then shape into 8 equal cakes.

Spray a large non stick frying pan with oil and put over a medium heat.  Cook the potato cakes for 3 minutes on each side until golden.  Serve topped with burgers.
